FLAVIA
Before the dress,
there is a drawing.
A line becomes a gesture.
A gesture imagines a dress.
An imagined evolution of Look 02.
The first collection, taking shape in Paris.
I draw
before I cut.
Everything begins on paperA shoulder. A waist. A little space between cloth and skin. I draw to see what a silhouette might become.
For now, the collection lives on paper. Next come the toile, the fitting, the patient work of making an idea move.
The first
gestures.
Three silhouettes, still becoming. A line held close. A volume reaching out. A gesture waiting for cloth.
Ideas, still
in motion.
Some ideas begin in colour.
Others, in a line drawn twice.
From the
drawing table
to your own.
Paper.
Possibility.
Presence.
A drawing holds an idea.
Cloth asks it to move.
Between the line and the first fitting, there is work to do. This is where the atelier begins.
Look 02 study · A conceptual translation, not a finished garmentOwn the drawing
before it becomes
the dress.
A drawing to live with. A trace of the first idea, before paper gives way to cloth. Signed reproductions are being considered for the first atelier edition.
Edition details and availability to be confirmed
The drawing stays.
The story continues.
The first line will still be here. Beside it, in time: the studies, the fittings, the piece it may become.
